Rewards

Our hacker rewards model is based on both collaboration and impact.

There’s a base payout for a given hacking event, regardless of the points achieved (on an hourly basis).

However, the more points a hacker obtains during the event, the higher will be the final payout.

final_payout = base_payout + points_payout + lead_bonus

base_payout = hourly_rate * hacking_hours / 2
points_payout = base_payout * hacker_points / total_team_points * number_of_hackers

The lead bonus only applies to the team captain. More information here.

Hourly rate will be shown in the document to be signed before you accept an invite.
